HA Brings Home 19 Pins and First-Ever Best of Copywriting Award.
Last night, advertisers from around the Twin Cities gathered virtually for the 95th annual AdFed awards event: The Show. Although this year’s event took place online, attendees were delivered party boxes in advance, filled with libations from 2 Gingers Irish Whiskey and Modist Brewing, as well as party favors and swag. People were also able to socialize and network at the virtual tables at the event “venue” until it was time for the main event: The Winning Reel.
Hunt Adkins was proud to bring home 19 Pins in total—5 Gold, 7 Silver, and 7 Bronze across several categories including campaign, catalog, animation, social media and more.
But the highlight of the evening was the introduction of the first-ever Best of Copywriting award, created in honor of our late Chief Creative Officer and nationally renowned copywriter, Doug Adkins—and the subsequent reveal that Doug’s Surviving Dadhood Manual would be the 2021 recipient of the award.
It was a fitting and bittersweet memorial to Doug’s incredible talent and the impact he made on the advertising community here in the Twin Cities and across the country. There will never be another like him.
